I don’t care about the past. I believe in the power to reinvent yourself.

When looking back at old memories or photo’s. Do not get sad about what you could, would or should have done then. Do not look and think I miss those times I wish it was still like that now because It is not. Living in the past will not bring you happiness. Reminiscing over good memories is always good but do not spend majority of your time trying to bring it back. Look at today and the future. What you could, would or should do now, tomorrow, next year. Make your future so good that you do not need to have should haves, could haves and would haves. The past is the past, missing it and being sad over it will not change a thing.
LIVE - For today.

Let me ask you, are you more or less effective when you are upset? Do you find yourself stuck at times in your life by anger, frustration, fear, guilt, and similar emotions? If so, here is a step-by-step approach adapted in part from the book, Do Less, Achieve More by Chin-Ning Chu.
1. DON’T SUPPRESS. Letting go of your emotions doesn’t mean to avoid feeling them or suppressing them. Suppressing your emotions can be harmful to your health, resulting in a myriad of physical ailments including heart disease, strokes and ulcers. Instead of suppressing your emotions, become unattached to them. How?
Let go of your past. That doesn’t mean to forget about it or shun it. It means to replace guilt/regret/whatever with a sense of pride and/or general acceptance. I feel that most people dwell on the past and their mistakes. How can you be happy if you are constantly in a state of regret? You can’t. Better yet, how can you do something good for the world if you are preoccupied with self-hate and regret? Think of all the wasted time and energy that goes into regret.
As good as they have been, your triumphs of the past are now little more than pleasant memories. As painful as they once were, your past failures are now behind you. Do you realize how completely free you are at this very moment? Do you understand that the main thing holding you back is your belief that something is holding you back? …………. Just Do It and Achieve whatever you want to do !
